James Madden thinks it will snow in February😯

Lass, is that down to the M.J.O [Maddening James Oscillation], by any chance?

Makes me dizzy, just looking at it!!

But be aware, if James fancy's a bit of C.O.D. [Circle of Doom] then we've had our chips!!

Remind me to put a cheque in the post to you Lass, for setting me up for this nonsense.

I will now return to my Day job, of being a Daily Star headline writer:

Meanwhile,  it's pretty obvious the only PLAICE to be Tomorrow is in the English Channel, where the Fish may see a Snowflake:

Right with that, I think I'll get my Swimming Trunks!!

Here is the updated ICON 15z, much better for the SE coast, even some settling snow. Could we squeeze another say, 10 miles north I wonder?😄

Heavier precipitation would lead to more evaporative cooling though so it is a fine line indeed

We've had a power outage here since 11am so I'm relying on you guys to keep me updated please! Daren't use my phone to look at the charts/radar as my battery nearly gone. Will pop in quickly to see what's occurring. (Hopefully a wall of snow and that system pushing 100 miles north! 🙏)

Right, time to be serious for a few seconds.

Below, is Annie Shuttleworth of the Met Office with Tuesday Afternoon's, "Deep Dive":

Turning much milder over the Weekend but with some Rain, and strong Winds.

Then High Pressure likely to build in from the South.

Therefore, likely to become dry and settled again but remaining mild with the source of the air, from South in the Atlantic.

Below, is a link to MeteoGroup's take on the Weather for the Week ahead, courtesy of Stav Danaos

Right , I'm off to watch the following with 'er upstairs:

I take it your in Bodle street green at the moment not Norfolk. Your within the envelope of the most recent updates, if the PPN does indeed make landfall, your location being inland at 60m asl is going to be an advantage maybe compared to us on the coast should things turn a bit marginal down here. Fingers crossed.

Met office app for my area now forecasting light snow all day tomorrow.

First time it has shown this on the 1900 update.

Evening models definitely upgrading the risk, the ones met office pay attention to anyway.

When I left for work this morning it was -4.5 , it is now currently 3.6 thought it was going to be colder if I’m honest 🤷‍♀️

I've still got frost on cars here, don't know temp, but also what looks like under developed shower cloud moving west to east.

Good news. It was starting to look better earlier on, so I'm thinking now, have we snatches victory from the jaws of defeat? For down here anyway?🤔

Yes, it has always been possible, a scenario  that has a 50 mile margin for error either way could give us coastal communities a snow day.

Expectations need managing though!, not beyond the realms of possibly that it is just a wintry mix, more likely if it lands to be very light snow on and off.

The unlikely is heavier snow at times that sticks.

M..0 now have a maximum of 1c tomorrow here, which means it will drop from values tonight.

They are obviously seeing the colder air push in against the precipitation tomorrow which could get interesting.

Saying light snow as the headline for Brighton, but pix show cloud only.
