Dorsetbred the Arome goes with later too. I'd prefer it to rattle through overnight, so I can get working outside as early as possible.

*Stormforce~beka* I've been noticing these weird, broken radar returns around Winchester for years now. I wonder what causes it?

I'm sure it started doing that before I moved in 2016. Not such an issue for me now but still annoying when looking on there to see what's about nearby.

I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry when the sky started clearing at dusk! Stars shining well now, of course!

The grand total of 4 dry days in February. The even grander total of 188mm 🙄

Andy Bown I've just spent 10 days in Scotland for my wedding and a break in Skye and other areas, and saw far more sun than down here of late! It barely even rained up there, and we climbed Old Man of Storr in sunshine!

But moving through quickly, hopefully.

Just opened the curtains to a flash of lightning and now a rumble of thunder.

Radar has now picked it up...

It may be the first morning of spring but it didn’t stop me being woken up by a deluge of hail about 20mins ago. Looks like a nothing first half of March to come.

Strong winds, rain and hail here in Southampton and now suddenly blue skies and dead quiet. Really weird…

Violent storm here at 3am, directly overhead and moved on down to Plymouth. A patch of snow in the garden.

Soft hail shower just passed over here.

Provided a white dusting that I never saw all winter!

Morning All, Spring has sprung with a leak! Glad to see the MetO yellow warning has been removed, as it's pleasantly sunny down here. The overnight low of 1.5°C at: 00:37 and the current temp is 7.2°C but some windchill attached to that with the fresh breeze in from the W - SW. RH81% and 6.3mm of rainfall.

From Above, Inbound showers for later by the look of that

On Golden Sands, a couple of hardy folks braving the surf.

Oh my it’s actually rather sunny! What a novelty!

It has come after another novelty, a bit of the white stuff in very wet blobby style around 09.30 !

Decent for outside work now. Sunny and breezy.

Fortunately, I was in Wickes, Tesco's and in-excess when the last heavy showers went over.

Should get a clear run now until I have to pick the OH up from work at 4pm.

Next door's landscapers are back after their two day rain delay, so I'm learning loads of new swear words. 😀

1st March and the first day of actual weather in what seems like ages! Already had two huge hailstorms, one with a rumble of thunder (also first of the year). Couldn’t be more March if you tried!

Just had a brief hail shower in Beesands, probably more to come later I reckon. Feeling cold in that wind too, especially when the showers arrive.
