jy Aye, Jy. . . Unlike the NHS, these privatised monopolies set their own budgets. And still, they can't do what they're supposed to. 🤔

I got soaked in Melksham this morning, totally misread the wrap around rain development and direction when checking the radar at 07.00!

Lovely but very windy afternoon playing in the garden and doing jobs.

Much calmer and clear evening for football in Westbury!

Out in the garden.

It's a race between comet p12, the rotation of the earth, encroaching cloud from the NW and the second half of Real Madrid v Man City. ☄️

Yep, raining again. I went for a walk to see the heath fire damage that is only around 200 meters from where we live. Fortunately,I suppose, the rain is a welcome dampener on the burnt ground.

The paths are just so muddy again, when I thought they were finally drying out!

I love the response from a person seeking to be a parliamentary residence who said "Broadstone councillor xxxxxxxxxx said: “I wouldn’t want to speculate but it hasn't been dry hasn’t it." A double negative in a response, oh how sad, and she thinks she's up to parliament, hah maybe she is!

Some cracking cells firing off some heavy rain have crossed the area this afternoon. Have to say sitting there listening to the rain on the windows is a great feeling. Yes I appreciate most people are p******d off with it all, but nature provides some great activities that create noise, wind, thunder, and rain. One of life's joys when you struggle to hear.

Meanwhile the sun, whilst trying its best this morning has faded fast this afternoon:

There’s a little sun here but invizdriz too! Hoping (HOPING) the stronger sun allied to a bit of breeze will burn through/clear the cloud a bit.

Yet another dreadfully inaccurate local tv forecast yday eve from MetO.

I was up early doors, a quick jetwash of patio (prob annoyed the neighbours). Sprayed the black spot remover all over, smells like a swimming pool out there at the mo😁.

10.30 restart to brush the water/substance mix and then a final jetwash, but it's 'kin heavy drizzle. Remind myself to keep extension lead socket part under patio table😁
