Been a largely sunny morning with big cumulus clouds slowly growing. Going very dark to the southwest though so the first showers of the day probably not far away.

To be fair, @jy’s garden is in need of a drop of rain, so we welcome it with open arms.

We have fortunately missed out on any showers so far today. Spells of sunshine making it feel quite pleasant this morning. Now feeling a bit cooler with a breeze.

Yes, it's been really nice down here, after expecting a naff ol' day it turned out a 100%, dry, sunny warm, minimal breeze.

A massive black cloud has decended over our house.Millwall are losing to already relegated Rotherham and Basingstoke were beating Salisbury.

jy It's clearing now, so going to sit in the Sunshine and listen to the mighty Saints.

Can't believe Rotherham beat anyone. I'm from Rotherham originally, so always keep an eye on what they're up to. Usually nothing.

Just the one brief shower this afternoon. Apart from that was another sunny day and felt pleasant.

95% dry today, plenty of sunshine, one heavy hail then rain shower, lots of cool cloud shapes spotted while walking then playing outside too.

Easter holiday work begins tomorrow, looks like I might get lucky with a dry morning after a wet night!

Thanks @*Stormforce~beka* it was a cracking day.

This morning starting off damp after the overnight rain, with the low of 6.8°C at: 07:08, currently 9.9°C, RH92% and a light breeze in from the WSW, with a few clouds at an altitude of 1,700 ft.

From Above, the next inbound front showing clearly, with a few deeply embedded cells over the SW approaches

Another bright, sunny & very acceptable start to the day.  It’s actually not been an overly bad Easter Weekend IMBY.  A lot of cloud about at times, sunshine here & there too, warm and mainly dry (at least during daylight hours).   Could’ve been better but could’ve been far worse too.

There’s always a bit of bad news though.  Can’t help but remind you all of what’s to come at some point this afternoon/evening depending on where you are in the region;

make the most of the sunshine currently!!

Working week ahead looks a bit meh.  Not a washout by any means, rainfall looks sporadic and patchy most of the time.  Expect a lot of cloud and dullness around though.  Fifty shades of Grey!!

No Sea Eagles 🦅, no Ospreys; but a few Marsh Harriers, plus various other wetland birds.

Nice spot though and met some nice people at the lookouts.

Rain started at 3ish, but I'd picked up the OH from shopping by then and we were back drinking tea at our pals house.

It was lovely working in Melksham. Got home at midday. Washing dry before the rain started around 15.30 . Decent wins, trying to think positively!

Amused (and pleased ) that tomorrow could be similar all round!

At least the rain held off until later this afternoon today so it didn't turn out too bad.
