  1. Way out in Fl but the Gfs 6z op from aroud 240 to the end of its run brings copious amounts of rainfall for most of the uk with a couple of atlantic lows struggling to make inroads against the block thus causing it to stall just to the west of the Uk. One perb of many.
  2. It all depends what you mean by Mild Karyo, The Glosea is a watered down version of the September update which mainly goes for average conditions across the Uk, However far to early to call what the seasonal outlook well be, never mind trying to put temperature values and rainfall amounts on each month
  3. Lol yes looked at the op which was very cold and posted the mean without really looking. However as means go it would produce snow in some areas useless really as it changes day to day I'll stick to the ec seasonal
  4. Mind you a average winter would be great after the few winters snow possible
  5. Yep just had a quick look seems averge to slightly above is there take on it so far.
  6. Cohen is going for a a larger than normal eurasian snow cover this October hence a stronger siberian high and higer probability of lower temperatures in the NH not guarranteed but another tick in the box.
  7. Well the ever reliable CFS is showing the next ice age for January next year cold air galore not a bad mean.
  8. What is it with people. Jacksonville pier people going in the sea. Really starting to look rough
  9. I thought that. I mean it doesn't look to bad there at the moment but even so. Why risk it? On the beach in lauderdale as well. We're ever that is
  10. Exactly how close to Miami is Matthew going to hit? On the webcams on Miami beach their are loads of people in the sea

  18. For last winter if my memory serves me correct they predicted a seasonal winter in the uk with slightly colder conditions on Scotland and ni . And we know what happened. So they hardly nailed it however they may have it right . I'll wait for the glosea update before I spit my dummy out
  19. It's great watching the cold pool advancing west over Europe
  20. i think its because its the closest seaside town to here. ive seen lying snow here for the past few years altitude however plays a key role anything over 500ft seems to do ok. however i agree the past few winter have been dire.
  21. Lol yes its amazing how time and time again Brum seems to be the snow dividing line. bring on the madness
  22. Right my top three. And the be honest they are not the most original but they are places that i either have fond memories of or places i can enjoy with my family. First up. 1. London. I know people might scoff but i love all the pomp and ceremony i love the hustle and bustle. And i could spend a day on the tube just travelling about. 2. Norfolk. I enjoy the diversity one day you can spend with a candy floss and enjoy the big dipper the next you can be sampling the tranquility of the Norfolk Broads. Plus ive been going there for years and it seems like a second home. 3. Shropshire, I lived there for a while after i got married and the views over the Shropshire hills towards Church Stretton are outstanding. However trying the navigate the Long Mynd in winter can be a little precarious
  23. Greg Postel ✔@GregPostel Some current wind reports in and around#HurricaneMatthew. That buoy 42058 reported ~34ft waves last night as Matthew closed in 2:14 PM - 3 Oct 2016 Wow!!
