  1. lol nice one Tamara. I did wonder what you were on about! Indeed - there's no certainty as posters have been stating regarding say, Wednesday onwards. It's tooing and froing, Atlantic flow - continental flow with every run. Perhaps our fate throughout will be to sit in the middle until there's a pattern change to something else completely!
  2. The couple of people living north of Birmingham would disagree with that from Saturday.
  3. Soooo close for some thick cold from the east in the T+150/T+160s. This is going to run and run for a few days yet

  5. Have let Paul know RRR - data issues no doubt Weird - you tried uploading it again?
  6. It appears to be moving along the southern counties still at say 10-20mph. It's in the north that the ppn seems to have stopped at the moment - but the ppn seems to be feeding up from the south southeast so it'll probably get a shove sooner rather than later.

  12. Fife about to get a beefy shower. Will make my commute on the train to Dundee tomorrow even prettier
  13. Aye I noticed that Ross. The showers as far north as Fife now from the east - bit of a 150 mile correction as it was all to be an England-only event on Saturday earlier.
  14. Snowing in Edinburgh. Hopefully there'll be enough to cover the black ice on the pavements and make it a bit less tricky out tomorrow.
  15. And suddenly stuff is on the move east to west aiming for the central belt....
  16. Newspaper report and photo: http://edinburghnews.scotsman.com/news/Rare-sea-tornadoes-pictured-on.5962644.jp
  17. They're some remarkable stats Donald - welcome to the nw forum
  18. Come on folks - there is a thread with the mysterious title of January CET to discuss exactly that.
  19. Is the longevity of the snowcover very unusual for you weathermaster?
  20. A bit further down the coast over Angus towards Dundee, there appears to be a band of ppn developing on the latest radar heading south?
  21. The NMM suggests this evening for Edinburgh Joe. But who can really say?!
  22. Day 21 of the freeze here i.e. we're entering our fourth week. Imagine that on News24...
