  1. Cloud 10 - I can confirm that the Netweather radar corresponds with the image you posted :winky:
  2. Ditto mate, all I had was heavy rain as far as I know so if you do get any can you send them over to me please
  3. Very heavy rain now and overnight but I never heard any thunder (nor did Hubby). Slight chance of storms today but I wont get my hopes up
  4. Arrghhh I need to be up at 06:30 so I really have to go to bed now but all I want to do is stay up & watch the radar darnit! I'm a heavy sleeper but Hubby is a light sleeper so he's under strict instructions to wake me up if a cracker of a storm arrives during the night lol I'm guessing by the way the fronts are moving that the area I've indicated with the arrow is the one that's going to land in Hampshire tonight? (hopefully!) Happy radar watching all, g'nite
  5. I agree, maybe you can ask treat yourself when you've passed or ask santa to buy you a subscription for xmas  Good luck tomorrow!
  6. I'll do this once, just subscribed to NW this evening - it's not expensive and is well worth the money spent in my opinion
  7. Oooh well I chuffing hope so because all I had in Winchester today was torrential rain and one thunderclap. Haven't even bothered to update my sig yet as one thunderclap does not a thunderstorm make! NW forecast still showing a good chance for storms in Fareham overnight tonight / tomorrow so here's hoping!
  8. ahhh ok, I will trial it for 6 months on a 1-off payment then and make up my mind next May. Cheers Paul, am buying now! wow that was a quick and easy process (although I must say I rarely have trouble spending money lol!) think I'll be spending this evening learning how to use all the tools, yippeeeee :o
  9. Hiya Just been to sign up for a subscription and was pleased to see a PayPal logo on the front page as that's my preferred payment method online. However, when I selected the package I wanted and clicked on the Pay Now button I couldn't see a way to pay with PayPal - only options were credit/debit/worldpay. Could someone let me know if this a fault or not please? Cheers
  10. Short bursts of very heavy rain here and THUNDERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! Edit: One rumble only but hey it's a start!
  11. hehe will do Coast :winky: Just checked the NW forecast and the chance is back! 50% + from tomorrow! I'm a happy bunny again now
  12. I *%^&* knew it! Latest update says 15% for Thursday and 30% Friday-Saturday!!! It's all I can do to stop myself typing the rude words currently buzzing around my head!
  13. Local weather on BBC this morning (so via Met Office) showed a heavy rain & flashing lightning symbols for Thursday but it wasn't actually mentioned by the presenter. My local NW forecast for Thursday - Saturday shows over 50% chance of storms but I'm not going to get excited until nearer the time coz I know only too well how things change
  14. I can't believe what difference a few miles makes - I'm less than 10 miles from you (as the crow flies) yet all I've had is flippin' rain! (It's chucking it down again now) - so utterly not fair
  15. Persistant rain here for the past half hour with some really heavy bursts. I got soaked whilst outside admiring the sky (and smoking what turned into a soggy ciggy) and my cat has just screwed up the courage to go out his catflap although I'm betting he'll be back pronto! No T/L yet but I'm ever optimistic!
  16. ooooh I must confess I do have my fingers crossed for something stormy - it's been far too long without any! There are strikes showing on Meteox albeit only a few - but here's hoping!
  17. Interesting! Hubby asked me if I'd heard a rumble amongst the heavy rain we just had and I did think at one point that I had but wasn't quite sure...
  18. Very heavy rain just started here, sounds deafening on the conservatory roof! Gonna have to switch the lights on too! No rumbles yet though more's the pity! Edit: 12.7mm in less than 1 hour - the drains are very busy!
  19. Warm & windy here, did get heavy rain overnight (woke hubby up) but apart from a few spots whilst I was driving to my sisters' (with the roof down) there's nowt going on here. Can see sferics north of the county so I'm hopeful!
  20. Apparently I have a 56% chance of storms around 22:00 tomorrow but I wont hold my breath - it's been a poopy year for sferics here this year!
  21. You know that if we did that the storms would start heading for the UK don't you...
  22. Been watching Meteox and there's some nice heavy-looking rain and a few lightning strikes off the south west coast - wondering what my chances are here of seeing any storm action? Kinda seems to be heading in the right direction... Mind you, I put money on it being a light drizzle if it even gets this far
  23. Meteox showing storms your way indeed http://www.meteox.co.uk/h.aspx?r=&jaar=-3&soort=satradar Temp here now up to 22oC with wind making it feel like 24.2oC and climbing. Sun is out but sky looking very dark grey.
