  1. Still snowing but not very hard, , and we've got a bit of the drip drip as well in spite of temps showing as fractionally below freezing. Need a bit of a resurgence. Come on Estuary....!
  2. Let's not snip at each other's interpretations of snow intensity eh? It's easy to get a bit over-keen in the excitement....
  3. We've got grass AND shrub coverage. Wheelie bins also.... toot!
  4. It rained really hard until about 6, then we had snow, and now it's happily coating the cars & pavements. I'm amazed it's sticking, the ground is soaked. No complaints here though!!
  5. Not cold enough on the estuary, I'd not even classify it as Snizzle. It's just rain. For now.
  6. I've got a Chicken Tikka Dansak, usual sundries, many poppadums and a King prawn Bhuna incoming. Allegedly. Don't judge me on the volume of food, I have eyes bigger than my stomach!
  7. I picked up some cartoony ones from the David and Goliath store for a tenner each....
  8. Doesn't matter how many times I've seen these warnings, I can't help reading it 'warning for yellow snow' I'm on my way to Bath at the moment. The highlight of my evening may well be Ian Ferguson's forecast on BBC points west......
  9. Wind noticeably stronger and small flakes falling quite hard - at least as hard as Sunday. I have to go to Bristol tomorrow for work, so I'll take whatever I can to possibly wiggle out of it!
  10. Oh awesome!I'm still Snizzling! You're usually about 10 minutes ahead of us downriver.......
  11. It's all gone a bit snizzly - we've had the microflakes all morning, but it's eased a bit, for now.... I'm happy watching that channel blob feeding it in... just the tips of the grass uncovered now....
  12. I'm not holding by breath, the wind is blowing it everywhere, so accumulation is really difficult to gauge.
  13. It's snowing here... it's been pretty light and non descript all day, but it does seem a bit more lively at the moment....
  14. Believe me, I am just as disappointed as anyone at the lack of white stuff, but please, let's try and keep this thread a little buoyant eh? Lots of people saw snow, don't be bitter if you didn't. It's just the weather. I'm still really excited *cautiously* for the rest of the week. Oddball says it MUCH better than me......
  15. I'm sure you're capable of individual thought Thinon.... Nobody is forcing you to look on here!
  16. lol - it's entirely unscientific, but my thinking is that we get the sun out of the way in the *technically* warmest part of the day it's okay, because if we did have snow now it might not stick. Completely illogical, but that's my story and I'm sticking to it if anyone asks me on FB!!
  17. Sorry for those that check both threads - I'm on the cusp of both regions & just popped this in the EA thread - I think it's nice that we are seeing this quantity of snow on the radar at all!! :)We've got bright sunshine here now, but it's very dark towards the river. (and cold obviously) - I'd love a bit of the stuff feeding in to clip us, but I think I am just a little too far inland. - It's cool, I've had a few flakes to re-affirm my faith! Don't forget this is the really early stage in the game for our area too - chins up! x
