  2. Ooh, I'm going! Can't wait either, be great to get some Vulcan Pix against Blue Sky - all my ones from RIAT were mud-splattered and gloomy.
  3. Well it's farewell rain, but hello gusty wind! Fairly sure it wasn't like this earlier. Or maybe I was just concentrating on the rain. One phenomena at a time....
  4. Just started to rain on the estuary. Sky has that sexy dark grey look....
  5. it was nice while it lasted, even sitting inside at work I could feel the Vitamin B! Back to working on this tonight then....
  6. Inadvertently chased the one that came through Thurrock about and hour and a half ago on my way home from work, driving alongside some pretty cool CG lightning in torrential rain on the A13 made it hard not to crash the car.... Cleared up a bit now, although looking at the radar there's quite a lot going on/coming in, and not that far away!!
  7. On the c2c train back from Fenchurch St- the cloudscapes are immense! Completely missed C London - hope I can catch up on some action at home
  8. Just got on the train at Upminster to go to Brent Cross for work, clouded over and is now pouring - left my coat in the car.... Invoking the wrath of the weather gods!
  9. Aww, no way! You're only up the road to me Paul, I had two flashes and two bangs about 30 mins ago....
  10. Just started to rain hard here, heard a few grumbly-rumbles a moment ago, lightning detector has started to pop up a few strikes this direction. Sky has a nice greeny yellow tinge to it......
  11. I'm off to Saundersfoot tomorrow, then Monmouth midweek before going on to RAF Fairford. Excited about a bit of west country potential!
  12. Would love to chase in the UK - I cover Exeter-Essex, so pretty much everything south of central London for work & am on the road a lot. Hello detour!!
  13. Wind seems to have really picked up here - a lot fresher than this time yesterday. I'm in Wales & the Midlands next week before going to an airshow, half of me kind of wants that storm experience (if it does repeat, and doesn't cause too much havoc) but on the flip side I don't fancy my tent's chances Vs golf ball hail!! talk about torn!
  14. Well The wind has picked up somewhat here!! blown all the humidity off and away :o(
