    Woke up several times, but didn't see anything snowy, gave up at 5, I think last night was our best chance this week, looking pretty rubbish and wet after mid week for the foreseeable.

    no run can be dismissed, trends are the important thing, and the 18z that has just passed in reality has gone against the trend. But who knows what the 00z will show, could be a new trend.

    looking at my Radar App,all the showers over Southern Ireland and Wales, turning increasingly to snow in the last hour, also some showers pepping up from nowhere in mid wales, must be very unstable, so no reason to think that can't happen down here, in what appears to be a bit of a lull atm.

    Just seen latest bbc forecast and they show a lot of white stuff over our region over night, prob won't settle but great to see.

    It's probably a month too late though, could end up only seeing the changes from a SSW 6 weeks after it, i.e. mid March

    Was 9.3C at 3:40pm, now 6.3C. Had 13.7mm today, bringing my Jan total to 237.6mm so far

    10mm so far for me today. Met App says sleet at midnight and 3am. Might have to go and take the timer out of the lamp posts! Thursday looking cold, Maximum of 4C, certainly more seasonal this week!

    my god did it get windy earlier, was not expecting that. walking with the wife and kids, the youngest could barely walk against the wind. Fantastic, with no rain either, weird
