  1. Where's 'here'? We had those temps last week, very nice too.
  2. It did get up to 17C in the end but still dreadful and that wind hasn't stopped howling! Just vile.
  3. Utterly vile weather today, unbelievably bad, max temperature of 12C in London is beyond a bad joke and that wind! Really paying for those few nice days last week.
  4. I thought today wouldn't be pleasant but wow! Just utterly awful. Had a few hours of heavy rain here which was appreciated but the max temperature so far is a disgusting 12C and that wind....ugh. Not nice to see trees down.
  5. Dodgy seed maybe? If you sow another load, will they catch up?
  6. Agree, 60mph+ gusts on coasts warrants a warning. Looks nasty tomorrow too, even worse for N France, Belgium and the Netherlands.
  7. Yep, proper rain. Have you had any luck with your melon plants? My watermelon plants enjoyed the warmth last week (in the greenhouse) and are growing quite strongly.
  8. Pishing it down here! I don't mind some decent rainfall and the allotment will love it. It's those winds at this time of the year that I can't stand, destructive and unnecessary.
  9. We're certainly paying for last week's nice weather this week. A horrible period of weather to endure, the wind is already howling here with a max temperature of 18C, poor. Signs from ECM that next week may return to more summery conditions. Everything crossed.
  10. Quite disappointing weather here today, loads of cloud and a cool wind, just 19C so far. Dry at least, so usable.
  11. It's a week away, so subject to changes and in any case, not that relevant to this thread.
  12. Nowhere near 35C in France. And S Britain looks quite warm, small tweaks could mean warmth moves N.
  13. Not the best run by any means but Tuesdays low keeps the games across N France rather than here. Any charts to show this heatwave over France?
  14. A deep low in June seems to have occurred quite regularly over the last 10 years or so, from memory, hitting the southern half of the country worst. A most unwelcome development, who wants gales at this time of the year? A week away though so could all change and hopefully either move north by many hundreds of miles or disappear altogether.
  15. Gorgeous day here so far, all the cloud and humidity has cleared to strong sunshine and deep blue skies. Warm still and and a light to moderate breeze, currently 19C.
  16. Threatening skies here again after a sunnier interlude, warm and humid, 25C currently.
  17. Yes, sultry is the word I think! Feels almost like being in Singapore or Bangkok. Have a headache too, sometimes get one when it's thundery.
  18. Some more convection here, dry at the moment but darkening skies and still warm and feeling humid, 25C currently.
  19. There's a huge cell rapidly building to the E-SE of here. Looks like a proper thunderstorm! Very warm and almost stifling here in the sunshine.
  20. Sun out here again, feeling tropical. Lots of convection going on all around.
  21. Was the heaviest rain I've seen for a long time! Sun back out now and feeling like Singapore lol
  22. Very heavy rain shower just passed through here (Staines), torrential and has caused a bit of flooding. Brightening up now but still warm and humid.
  23. Just had 15 minute shower here in Staines, heaviest rain I've seen for absolutely ages! Roads flooding but no thunder.
  24. Annoyingly cloudy here at the moment, should clear up soon before the front arrives tonight. 19C currently with light winds.
