  1. bit early yet I feel to say hot weather becoming less, Winter cold though obvious getting less
  2. bbc then similar to this week then, I can believe the return to milder air though
  3. wait until it comes within 1 day, and goes tits up
  4. yes, no snow likely for South under 200m, winter over for these areas, but you could well see snow before April, not a bad location
  5. really does vary, for my location off a showery Atlantic flow, I need -10 or lower, Arctic showery -7 ish, Easterly showery -5 ish frontal/battleground with E or SE/SSE winds -2 will do, anything Atlantic air frontal, then -10
  6. bbc lost the plot for monday? what's this? monday on other models looks horrid washout with NW winds, would love it if this bbc chart was right
  7. If I was the express I would go the other way, 'Floods to sweep Britain', Britain to be flooded out', Britain faces 6 weeks of storms, Britain to suffer mildest winter on record
  8. I know this day, sure there was heavy snow in the morning, thurs 3rd Feb '94, wouldn't happen nowadays, just all rain
  9. 6.8C, dominated mostly by low pressure and the Atlantic, wet month all round, maybe change towards very end with northern blocking, which will dominate April E winds
  10. Very misleading meto yesterday, we all knew on here snow wasn't possible in the setup we had, but people I know wondering where last nights/todays snow was
  11. just thinking Will, you were right, if you can't see snow at 300m, nobody will
  12. Towel thrown in for me now, for winter weather, soon be march, for here winter's over (that's if there was one) Will, you were right in the SE thread about rain! I wasn't so sure as thought front would stall and cold air would catch it up
  13. Summers still good though, seem like they are getting cooler, but not so sure on that, as I am with milder winters, rarely feels unpleasant in Summer, really like warm April's May's as well
  14. +5 uppers, poster is right, was a very good Xmas well timed toppler
  15. think I am getting to the stage now where Summer is my favourite season, Everyone I know, knows winters are getting milder and less snowy on average over the last 15 or so years, think most do on here aswell but don't admit it
  16. but this area gets more lucky, I feel the cold air will catch the ppn up and bring snow to this region, may not lie though
  17. not sure if its worse here, had kind of 3 lots of lying snow! 20th Nov, 15th and 16-17th Jan, Feb though will be snowless
  18. You'll be saying next, that I was right all along, believing in the m/e
  19. why, you definitely moving oop norf? 402m asl and Andy agree c'mon leicester! easy match next
  20. agree there, I was just disappointed that this thing is completely timed for the day, 6am to 6pm, why not the night but I was a bit mistaken, I expected snow for peak district only
  21. for what? surely you didn't expect snow? feel sorry though for high up members, really thought they would see some, they will Sunday night, then Monday looks a wet one for all
  22. see around midday wind came from north, and clearance towards the end, hopes for a better day tomorrow
