  1. yes, my 2 worst weather days this year are 17th Feb and 9th March, NOT any of the so called named storms
  2. 2 horrendous days recently here, 17th Feb and 9th March, reminded me a bit of 'child of Nadine'
  3. certainly around 4.3o, clouds changed, lost the horrid NE wind
  4. ECM trended a bit towards GFS, sadly, not as bad, but this still looks raw for Stafford and the rest of the South, warm and sunny oop norf though
  5. this area is dull off easterlies, N sea mist struggles to lift, so yes Staffs and Shrops probably the dullest areas in the UK, in the average Spring setup, high to north low to south, NW areas of UK tend to be the sunniest the average winter setup, low to north, high to south, southern areas brightest, NW areas wettest/dullest
  6. FI, I'll believe this when I see it, was showing at same stage 16C in the south for monday 14th, now we'll be lucky to get 9°
  7. hopefully ECM closer than GFS, dosent look too bad on ECM (south) bright blue skies (north)
  8. UK few hundred miles further west I wish, 20C possible then
  9. Yes, for you, and north could be sunshine records broken, week maybe of clear blue skies, my area though and rest of the south, sunless days coming up
  10. your area looking good, as Frosty posted in model thread, north warm and sunny, little to no wind but my area, foul, grey, raw
  11. yeah, looks raw next week, GFS overdoing temps 10C no way in the south, biting easterly, grey skies and 'orrid, absolutely no sign of Spring at all, Netweather going to be very quiet from tomorrow
  12. feel warmest oop norf, less wind, my area struggle with the easterly wind and sea mist
  13. still remember this 25°C max in march 3-4 days of warm, even hot feeling weather, bright blue skies and sun, similar being modeled? hope models drop the nuisance drizzly easterly
  14. Atlantic air, thicknesses, need to be deep blue off Atlantic air, now if it was SE or SSE this would do, just dry here no rain yet Wednesday though a shocker, rain all day, repeat of half term week 17th Feb, never stopped
  15. Sat 5th? not here, always feels milder when damp, you in Wales anyway
  16. yes, as much as we all want Spring, 14C a bit optimistic, no real TM air here just high over us, could struggle with low cloud even early freezing fog, need high further SE for warmth i feel anyway
  17. coldest feeling day of the year today, sunny = cold, wet = warm
  18. 18Z too progressive and too east! dry Wednesday? surely not on the cards,
  19. as much as I loved the snow this morning, as I was out in it as well, still pleased to see Spring, especially we'll need a dry out after Wednesday's rain
  20. Amazing heavy snow this morning (but wasn't online to report) lasted around 40 mins after sharp frost, kinda the wintriest day of the season 3rd day this march of falling snow, all in mornings, wed, fri and Sun, maybe flurries tomorrow morning, but that will be our last snow chance for a few months
  21. 6th April 2008 one I know, very deep for a time, but full thaw as expected as late as Apr 6th
