I can think of many things that are a nuisance that warm, sunny weather brings. Screaming children, shouting mums, bbq's and drunkeness, loud music that people seem to think everyone else in the street want to hear, sweaty, tattooed torso's everywhere you look. Wasps, flies, the horrid smell of sunblock, heatstroke, sunburn, etc,etc...... As for the heating bills then maybe people should budget a little better. Shove a jumper on, you'll be fine. I'd pay twice the amount of my fuel bill if we had some nice cold weather and a decent Winter and be happy to do so.

I don't think any weather preference is strange tbh. I like cold, some people don't. Some like hot, some don't. I love the descent into darker nights into Autumn and Winter.....especially if we get a good one!

I don't like this weather at the moment. I can put up with it for a few days to a week at the most but it just makes me uncomfortable and grumpy (more than I usually am!) I also don't begrudge the fondness that people have for warm/hot weather, each to their own, but personally I can't wait for it to cool down and to darken earlier of an evening. I have a hatred of warm, muggy weather that's uncomfortable to sleep in so next week could be tough. It's so difficult to get a good cold spell in this country....if only I could move to Norway or somewhere in Canada I suppose my favourite would be cold and clear as we had in the 2010 winter.

Nice and cool this morning......sunny too with a slight frost in the shade. Let's hope it stays coolish as we enter Summertime. I don't mind a few warm days but too hot and dry is just a no no.

Yes, weather's different for everyone. I myself have asthma and warm,dry weather, an increase in pollen production and pollution set it off.

The problem is that the CFS has to be taken with a large pinch of salt, especially at long range. From last May it was showing cold, snowy and blocked winter months and continued the theme right up to October when it started to gradually drop the idea. So even looking for trends with it is hard work.

Weather hasn't been very nice here over the last few days. Warm with no breeze yesterday, muggy and warm this morning, warm last night...it's been quite uncomfortable..Lets hope the next few days cool down and next week is nice and unsettled. Wishing for a more interesting spell of weather which includes cool and wet. You never know it might last into the summer. Here's hoping! (Cue posts telling me how odd I am for wanting cool in Spring and Summer......it should be warm dont'ya know!...waffle,waffle)

I have been training with my Tibetan monk friend who also happens to be a vampire. He's taught me the ways of calmness whilst also giving me tips on how to avoid the rays of the sun. He said he can't help with the bbq's or screaming kids though.
