    How in the heck is it snowing in Birmingham, Notts and Leicester but sleet here In Oxford?! We are supposed to be in the colder 850's than you guys! And my house is 100m ASL so i'm not exactly on really low ground either. Bloody stupid Weather

    I don't understand how it can be sleet here! Birmingham who are further North and West and should be in the warmer 850's are reporting light snow. Same for Nottingham. Reading which is just down the road is reporting snow and a work collegue in Didcot says its snowing there too. Didcot is only 13 miles away!My house is around 100m ASL, higher than my place of work! Someone must have installed some hairdryers above mt house last night and pointed them towards the sky!

    Ok, this is rubbish. PPN reaches here... It's sleet! It can't make up it's mind whether it wants to rain or snow.

    That is an amazing photo fizzychops Never in my 26 years have I ever seen snow like that. I've never seen snow blown right up against the house like that. It nornally always melts around the house as soon as it falls!

    Really not excited about tomorrow. It's arriving at the worst possible time, midday! And it looks marginal as well. We will probably see some light snow here but none will settle and it'll probably turn sleety during late afternoon

    I'm 26 but get told I look older, not good! This possible streamer for tomorrow... I think it will arrive mid afternoon and will probably be snow but temps will be too high for it to really settle. Ideally we need it to arrive 7pm onwards!

    Nooo, stay! Yeah there are certain occasions where even though you love snow, you don't need it for a certain day! Last night was the first time in my lifetime that i'd actually become worried about the snow falling. Didn't think i'd get up to Leicester for the funeral today as there was an inch or 2 in Milton Keynes while I was there. And I was having to rely on coaches. Which I bet aren't the easiest to move around in heavy snow!

    Not really anything off the Lincolnshire coast though bud that is where the showers seem to be coming from for Leicestershire. I'm nearly back in Ox now anyway so the chances will be even less down here.

    Yeah i guess! I should be more grateful but it suckd to think that I wasn't in Ox on the night they get 5cm and the day after when I go back, They have nothing left cruel.

    Woke up in Leicester this morning to snow falling at around 9am and a dusting wasn't quite the 5cm that Oxford had though! And now it's melted in both places Just on the coach back to Ox now from the beautiful city of Leicester Cheese sandwiches and a bottle of water for tea

    That is all that's left??!! You are kidding me :( I'm just leaving Leicester on the coach now, the dusting we had this morning has vanished into thin air, all of it. I thought i'd come back to Ox to see a few cm's on the ground still. What a joke.

    Juat got off the coach in Leicester and all there is is just a patchy sugar dusting what a night to be out of Oxfordshire!

    I know I would love to be in Oxford right now but i'm going up to Leicester for good reason, a funeral! There is a dusting here but the radar looks like Oxford is in the absolute sweet spot Is it me or does that bin lid picture look like a giant snow covered fondant fancy?

    Marky my son! Looking beautiful in Oxford can't wait to get back there tomorrow afternoon. Hope it doesn't melt much!! The transition is quite surprising here. Only a dusting out the coach window now. Bombing down the M1 but not sure whereabouts exactly. I would guess Northamptonshire. Not as much here as Milton Keynes!
