  1. bit disappointed about Manchester not looking likely to see anything past 26C considering how prolonged the spell is. Even June 2000 saw some days touching 29C
  2. Anomalies aren't pointing to that I'm afraid its all down hill towards a colder, wetter than average first half of July.
  3. ECM has flaming June written right all over it. And hopefully it will come with a decent electrical display
  4. Give me something for as far North as Manchester/Leeds please then I may be able to share your excitement. Its all so SE Biased lately!
  5. I don't think it would be right to be moaning about HP being too far west if I'm correct about this chart
  6. Its a vile run, Wednesday/Thursday looks the best before HP drifts out west leaving a N'ly and then the run ends with Greenland blocking sending a 992mb crap fest over us. Long way off yet.
  7. Darren Bett with little back track on next weeks "return of summer" with a more flatter jet http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/features/40229401
  8. 06z backtracks a little from yesterdays runs and puts the HP out west so temps not looking that exciting either for warmies. End of the run ends with the azores trying to re-establish. .
  9. Are you for real? Its pointing at one of the best summer scenarios i've seen this year , Jet stream way out to the north sending lows across Greenland.
  10. Is the net weather model site down? Page keeps freezing and cant view charts.
  11. They need new graphics so hope there will be a overhaul. Bored with the current ones.
  12. Lets hope the trends improve , about time we had a hot dry solstice. Been a while.
  13. My thoughts exactly. The sun have just taken the warmer than average outlook and made it into something its not. But who knows? Some models are pointing at a blocked Easterly pattern in July / Aug so it could bring heatwave conditions
  14. https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/3723105/uk-set-for-its-hottest-year-ever-as-temperatures-set-to-rise-to-a-scorching-35c-in-blowtorch-summer/?CMP=Spklr-_-Editorial-_-TheSun-_-News-_-FBLink-_-Statement-_-FBPAGE
  15. Take a little sarcasm. But this week is a write off in my opinion and next week isn't looking that special either with HP out to the west bringing in a cool N/NW flow.
  16. its not going downhill its already downhill. A taste of 2012 for this week before next week another taste of 2012 and the week after its a classic 2012.
  17. GFS ofter under-exaggerates the temperatures. I see 31C in central France and darker colours going at the very bottom of that chart so I'm assuming southern France will see slightly higher temps.
  18. Another vile gfs run with constant troughing getting stuck between highs, In all likely hood the first half of June looks a total write off. Meanwhile parts of France see temps approaching 35C.
  19. Deep shocking autumnal lows of around 980mb for next week and more similar lows to follow according the ecm. Who said it was a summer ending in 2 or 7 ?
  20. Now we're talking and summer wants to get down to business on the latest GFS 18z. HP rising mid-June, if only that trough on the west could nudge out the way a little and we could be in 2006 territory. Shame this is just an outlier
