    Yeah for the South. Less so in my part of the world but for length of time below average its certainly been an interesting winter with more to come from the ssw

    It could be just that. We cant turn flat westerly that is for sure with nothing to fire the jet up due to zonal winds being reversed. My thinking is a pause due to an ill placed shortwave near Greenland

    Yeah of course. Stay humble let mother nature do what it wants to do and enjoy the journey along the way. Its a novel this winter and i honestly wouldnt he surprised at another flip to something else different

    Whikever our atmosohere is in this sort of state with northern blocking and an upcoming ssw on the way we will always stay in the game for something memorable. We still have to hope pieces of the jigsaw land in the correct holes Its 2 weeks will he 3 weeks below average next week with a ssw to come so its aoready been a noteworthy winter comoared to some of the dross weve had

    Potentially the start yes mate but i am honestly not looking past 120 hours. Anything goes at anytime pre ssw. It wouldnt surprise me if the ECM threw out another solution tonight

    Yeah its just weather modelling. I definitely dont invest emotional energy. Dont ger too high when its good or too low when its bad. Its a notoriously fickle model period pre ssw so im happy to still sit and observe and yes maybe the starts of the anticipated end of january cold spell the met office are on board with

    Yes no where near resolved just yet with such an inconsistent 2 days. Im still happy to sit on the fence now before i call a mild week before the end of januarys potential cold

    I dont think we will turn mild. Its looking more like a reshuffling of the deck due to the Southern Greenland shortwave. We know obviously we are forecast to stay cold after this so just a relaxation and go again towards the end end of the month when we will get a better imprint from the strat. O still feel we will get snowy surprises from a low in this period

    144 and we aint actually losing any cold its miles away. Looks to me like that short wave over greenland could just have delayed things for a day or 3!

    Rather than the High pressure sinking i think the trend to take away from the 12z is the chance of a back door easterly we dont actually have the cold leave us at 144. We have heights running under the high almost setting uw up for a possible repeat of this week if the high retains more latitude. One to watch!

    Its a tough call youd normally need youd normally need your head tested to go GFS against an ECM / UKMO blend but this is the only sypnotic out of 10s of them it excels in sooo. I guess we will see!!

    Icon is definitely a move towardw ukmo/ecm If them to go on to be sharper and icon and gfs go flatter i am taking 2 days off before i go mad! Hahaha!

    The icon is throwing up another solition not like any other model The model volidity is expected but atm its wild! This ssw really is sending models into a frenzy!

    Ah yeah well thats really good to hear then pal! Im glad she sounds like shes not too serious and her other half but it takes time i know that from the first time. Feels like ive heen run down forever cant remember last time i felt healthy hahauaha

    I know thats my attitude if your meant to get it you will get it! Is she okay? Im okay mate just that horrible feeling of fatigue and a tight chest! 3 degrees in England at mid day is cold though int it all said and done! And today looks the warmest day of the week!

    Has she? So it was two seperate infections. Ive been following since 2007 but not a member and im glad you enjoy my input. I put my neck on the line when i forecast but i have wide shoulders if it goes wrong and theres more important things in life you can get wrong!
