First time i've followed the live coverages. Scary radar updates showing where the circulation would be. Some damage reports are very concerning. Cameras searching for the rain wrapped tornado and cars pulling over. This is becoming very real for me now.

All seems a bit surreal to me at the moment. It probably won't hit home until I land in Dallas.

Oh right. I'll just write it down anyway just in case. I'm not the most organised person in the world so I need to make sure I have everything covered.

Do we get any documentation with the esta or is it just case of writing down the reference number and keeping that to hand ?

4 weeks today ! Really not long at all now.

Brilliant. Thanks mate. Are there any other bits of paperwork or fees for sevices that we need to cough up before we go ? My passport is fine. Travel insurance has been sorted. Currently paying for the trip itself. And I need to organise storm chasing insurance. Anything else...

I can understand. Just had a quick look through the storm chase 2007 archived forum and there is no talk of snow. The focus was on the risk you mentioned above.

Hi AJ, Just wondering if you are a member of the space.com forum. It seems to have been down for quite some time now which is a real shame.

Would be very interested in a wintry holiday for a bit of variety. Lake-effect snow near the great lakes. Could try scandanavia / central eastern europe for snow closer to home. Sapporo !
