Lol. Those guys are complete head cases. Was watching some highlights on Discovery last night. They parked up and got hit by powerful winds that smashed through the windows. The glass was blown in to their faces and they got a bit cut up. Madness. I'm looking more for the photo opportunities too. Although I do admit, I'm looking forward to maybe getting ahead of a storm and parking up for abit as the tornado bore down on us. Nothing like holding up for as long as possible before making a run for it !

Any chance we could try an intercept ? Doesn't have to be a major tornado. F2 will do.

Smokes, my flights came to £431. Direct Heathrow to Dallas with British Airways. Thanks for the info, Paul. Fingers crossed for an upgrade. My return flight isn't until 17.50 10th May. So plenty of time for me lol

Just booked my flights. As a world traveller with British Airways it says I can enjoy a "complimentary bar" - awesome. What a start to trip ! What about the food, any good ?

. I'd quite like to see a tropical cyclone, but you couldn't really plan for it. I remember ChaserUk (who used to post on here a while back) went after one. Cat 2 I think. Put himself through screaming winds gusting up to 100 mph right on the coast. Awesome stuff.

Unfortauntely the fog has set in and that's warmed the temp to -18.6C at 18:00.

I know the pattern is still to be decided, but do you think that the final few days of December (if the warming trend is verified) could scupper a sub zero month ? Thanks for the posts guys. Some of you preempted my question !
