The same people once again making the same complaints about weather warnings.
Warning are not guarantees of snow in your backyard, over night something changed, clearly the temps didn't drop away as expected, but there wasa risk of snow and ice hence the warning.

You have to laugh at the greater manchester sized gap in the ppn on the radar. Then again the Met office app downgradrd last night so was expected.

Classic retrogression, but it ain't quite right (for the UK at least) -

A pretty wintry forecast by the Met Office for my location, remove today and saturday afternoon and it wouldn't be far off a winter wonderland.

Is the Rain over the Irish sea tomorrows front?

The initial front will be rain but the post frontal showers will be in -9 850s so I think that should be good enough even for the coast.
" Ice will be the main hazard across Northern England and Wales."

It's gone darker here, not as much sunlight getting through.
Might turn everything icy, it will once we get to sunset -

-1 degrees here but the snizzle is only settling on minimal areas. Really confused as thought it would stick everywhere due to being below freezing??
Clouds are think and enougth solar input to make surface like roads and paths warm slightly.

What's coming down is not sticking it's just making the ground wet
Temps starting to get above freezing now and with the snow being light it won't stick.
-
The temp was below freezing last night no frost due to the dryness of the air.

It’s decaying, but this thing is expected to clear the south coast. The met office were going for a spell of heavy snow at one point. Wind direction tells me that the Irish Sea will have something to say about the weakness tho. Let’s see
Some heavy echos still out at sea.

I don’t believe dandruff was in the forecast
It really was..... It is a decaying front afterall.

Unless this picks up it’s gonna be a bust.
Typical we finally get the cold air and precipitation, but it’s the lightest most pathetic excuse of an Atlantic front ever.
What you have is what was forecast.... Only a bust if you think it was going to be something worse than it is.

Tuned heavy here now, looks like the showers have pepped up ahead of the front which is till over blackpool.
-
Light snow here now.
