Yes,the 12z ECM can prove to be quite chilly on the surface up to 172 hours and then it has some brief cold uppers from the west. It ends horribly mild but the charts at the 200 hour plus range don't often materialise. -

Agreed! They did great in January and we managed to scrape the barrel with some marginal snow events so maybe something can develop for us this time also. -

Just a bit of high cloud now so I am hoping for a frost.

Very interesting to see the comparison of different years. I see that 2013/14 is at the bottom of the list but for me 1997/8 was by far worse as it was milder and drier. It actually felt like spring.
