  1. Alright cool, I shall see you all there
  2. Some awesome shots there Paul, looks like a fairly angry set of storms particularly the first one.
  3. I'm thinking along the lines of many others with us having a very warm June, possibly the warmest since 1976, particularly the second half. My punt is for 16.8c.
  4. Certainly looks like being a very hot week for a large swathe of the US next week. To my untrained eye i'd say Thursday & Friday isn't looking top bad and has some potential from the latest outputs? Then again i could be wrong http://www.hpc.ncep.noaa.gov/medr/9kh.gif http://www.hpc.ncep.noaa.gov/medr/9lh.gif Only got two days left now! For those jetting out on Wednesday, my flight is at 11.25am from T5 if anybody fancied meeting up before jetting off? Message me if your interested
  5. I don't have precise measurements (apart from May) but going on nearby areas so far this spring we've had - March 20mm - April 10 - 12 mm - May - 14mm, so this year is beating last year which the totals were April - 20mm May 22.4mm and March was between 40 - 50mm. But we have had a very very wet Jan and Feb with totals well over 100mm for both months so we have needed this dry spring but it is starting to turn dusty now and the grass has been yellow since late April.
  6. Looking good ref the Ash Cloud with High pressure ridging in mid-week next week but even better than that the Volcano has stopped erupting ...for now lol

  12. Brilliant videos! that was a cracking lightning strike
  13. I'll go for 13.1c. I am quite torn but i feel after a spell of more average to possibly cool weather dominating the first half, will be followed by an increasingly warm to very warm second half.
  14. Video of the Philadelphia tornado in Mississippi earlier on today http://www.weather.com/outlook/videos/raw-tornado-caught-on-cam-20456
  15. I'm only going off what the guy on the news feed said just before it hit B'ham. Washington DC have a tornado warned storm also.. EF4/5 damage reported fro Tuscaloosa ....

  19. 1 fatality from the Tuscaloosa tornado. I hope this misses Birmingham
  20. Reports of destruction from the university in Tuscaloosa... More rotation now spotted on the live feed. I feel abit of a muppet for saying that this storm was ramping up earlier..
  21. My thoughts are going out to Tuscaloosa now, this twister looks alot more worse than the Cullman one earlier.
  22. Three tornadoes now from those three cells in a diagonal line , with the tusacaloosa one in the middle.
