    We’re above freezing and didn’t manage the ice day, 0.2C now. All I can think of, is that there’s a boundary of air that’s coming from the west as opposed to the easterly surface winds and that’s upped the temp Under these conditions even with the cloud it shouldn’t be causing a temp rise like this. How frustrating. Only in the north west.

    -0.1C. Ice day probably a no go now. Also I was mistaken earlier. It isn’t snow. It’s actually freezing rain drops. Unbelievable

    -0.2C. Actually going up fast, warmest it’s been all day. Very light snow falling though. Hope skies can clear!

    Unsure of a super low temp again tonight unfortunately. It’s been completely cloudy and misty all day here. That’s part of the reason why the temp has remained so low, but it’s also the reason why I doubt it’ll be dropping lower than around the -1C mark tonight.

    Few faux flakes keep whizzing past my eyes from the mist. If this doesn’t clear then -2/-3 will be the high temperature.

    -1.1C. Dropping like a stone Wouldn’t be below 0 if there was cloud cover though. Same as last night. It had to clear near dawn and even then I only managed -0.1C. -5/6C tonight easy I reckon. Could be the coldest night in years.

    Mad really isn’t it. We’re in the north and can’t achieve any ‘decent’ snow. Meanwhile those in the south have a slow moving snow machine over their heads. Madness. They get the warmer summers and the snow in winter. Remind me again why we live in the north? Other than the cheaper pints

    1.3C and it won’t budge even with lying snow on the ground. Really frustrating really. There’s another shower on the way so no doubt it’ll be rain. Rubbish.

    That’s good to preserve the snow then. It’s still coming down now. Just snow, no rain. But isn’t sticking.

    It was anyway so nothing lost any snow that falls and settles how should stay, sun is on its way down. Not looking like we’ll go below 0C for the next two nights now though, which is frustrating.
