  1. Could do with the temp dropping and the PPN hurrying up. Very slow moving. If it’s snow there’s potential for 5-10cm in this next band. It’s hardly moved for an hour.
  2. -0.2C now. DP obviously below 0C too. Partially clear skies. Anything that falls from here on, SHOULD be snow.
  3. Never seen anything like it. Worst roads and paths I’ve ever experienced. Ice everywhere, cars frozen, temp 0.5C. Raining.
  4. 1.8C, DP 1.2C. Temp needs to drop to 0.6C to be conductive for snow.
  5. Had some clear views of the mountains today from here, they’re not white!
  6. Deffo. Can’t see much more in the way of precip round here after 5/6pm though.
  7. Looking at the radar, there should be a period of clear skies once this streamer moves away. Temps will really fall, could be super icy later
  8. Absolutely belting it down with the heaviest snow I’ve seen in two years. Fantastic stuff.
  9. Big shame. If this was proper show it would be about 5cm deep. Loads of flooding & large puddles.
  10. Keeps alternating between rain, sleet and big flakes here. Hoping for some hail, love a good hail streamer.
  11. The radar is showing sleet as far south east as Macclesfield, that’s not a good sign at all is it really.
  12. Turned to wet snow. 1.5C. Just shows how reliant on colder uppers we are. Obviously the cold here is just surface cold. Gonna take something heavier to be proper snow.
  13. 2.5C. Sleet. Yawn, typical winter in the NW of England. Temp is almost 8C warmer than 4 hours ago.
  14. Hey mate- parts of Norton & Murdishaw way colder up there. Old town milder next to the river! Usually the case.
