Near enough a blizzard up here at the moment - been fairly heavy snow to heavy snow for a good half hour now and ofcourse everything is now white (if it wasn't already - I still think this is only a heavy shower though)

have had about 8 snow showers today each setting then melting but tomorow looks more likely for the west to see snow 1-3 cm acorrding to the local weather

so mabye bristol and the west country might get some

Its been snowing here since I got in from work at about 6.30pm. Mostly light but the odd moderate spurt. About 4cm on the grass, 2cm on pavements, roads. Virtually all of this mornings snow cover was gone by the time it started settling again this evening.

Heavy snow with massive flakes again. Been falling for 2 and a half hours with whiteout conditions now, with the showers stalling over me, looks like it could be falling for hours to come.

Had heavy snow all night now from about 4pm 4 inches of lying snow now Easily, with drifting 7-8 inches in places and its still snowing its just not stopping unbeleiveable!!BTW why is there no warning out for Glasgow and the surrounding areas?Cause right now we must be having some quite bad conditions compared to other areas with warnings........
