Frost Reports 25th Sept Onwards

Hi all, reports for frosty cars this AM in douglas, unable to corroborate as i wasnt in work til late and there definitely wasnt any in Peel even at 5am when my husband left for work.

A harder frost today then yesterday and in the frost hollow there was a hard frost, everything was white and certainly the first air frost both here and in the hollow of the year with a temp here of -2C!

A 'car roof' frost this morning. Min temp of 4c so only the coldest surfaces, car rooves freeze first, turned white.

Lovely crisp whiteness this morning. I recorded an overnight low of - 2.7 C and the chickens didn't much fancy coming out until gone 10 this morning - normally they're up and out as soon as i open the hutch door.... See what tonight brings I reckon i might just manage a -4

Was just shy of -5C last night at -4.9C , still hovering at just under freezing now.

I sure hope so Andy although its unlikely. But frost is meant to return this evening down to -3c last night with nice white covering of frost.
