On the face of it this looks promising.

It is going to be VERY hit and miss for most of us in the north-east, I'm afraid.

(The lighter patches on the radar indicate low-cloud....not precip).

You could say 1 min theres no cloud to the north then the next there is a resonable snow cloud coming your way.

According to the METO rader it should be snowing or PPN at least falling but theres nowt. Cloud is heading this way though but weather its contain PPN remains a mystery because its not like a normal snowcloud.

If anyone could draw me a map of what they think may take place Saturday 10th it would be appreciated.

I know that is the day I made my prediction for but it would be interesting to see some kind of map for possible outcomes or maybe leave it a couple more days for further upgrades? :D:):):)

Robert :) Well interestingly the last few runs the models have hinted at another band of precipitation heading over the UK like the one forecast for Thursday is... and while it does head across the UK on saturday it looks like we could have temps of 1-2c in some areas and there is a possibility of another chance of snow. But we wont know for sure till about Thursday.

Just about. Another non-event looms for us in the Midlands again though.

Thursday/Friday, maybe Saturday too according to Rob Mc Elwee......

Regards,

Mike

I guess we have some margin of error around here Winston if the Snow band moves a little North or South we should see some eitherways.

absolutely, it's just frosty atm

Edit: just checked the radar, it must be pointed at a different country lol, because i should be burried in snow if that was correct

Maybe it's a frostdar?

Well I've had 3 heavy snow showers pass through in the last hour I'm delighted to say.

The only thing is, they were showers on the radar, yet I haven't seen a cloud in the sky never mind a bloody snowflake.

So, no snow to ghost snow.

This is now way beyond a joke.

Is it snowing ANYWHERE in the north east?

Um, yes. At least two snow showers and the ground is covered, albeit lightly. Sorry :):)
