wind and dew points for tomorrow

nigel

Well the dew points look reasonable, with today producing similar, and a wind convergence zone in a similar place as well. Pretty much a rerun of today.

One word unlikely.

Well well, another hot and sunny day for most.

BBC weather / Metoffice are talking about showers possibly heavy for south / southwest & wales

Estofex looks fun for europe but nothing for the UK :nonono:

Yes it looks like any showers will be in the South West or Wales and Some may get into the West Midlands. But otherwise thats it.

Put simply Nigel it looks to me that the weatheronline forecast skew-t's are widely inaccurate with their cape prediction. If they are based on the GFS, which I believe they are then the data just doesn't support the figure on their diagram.

You can even see on the cape maps that the level they are showing is not applicable to anywhere in the UK:

Forecasts say I'm in the best area for storms today...I'll believe it when I see it. But it is very muggy this morning and already 23.5C with full sunshine.

Wales/SW does have the best chance of sharp showers/thundery if were`re lucky.

We`ve got all this low cloud to clear yet but it`s warm/humid at 19.1c.

Seen days like this before and the low cloud just doesn`t clear in summer even with no wind in recent years.

After a clear start here, its almost totally clouded up within an hour, hardly any sun and no wind.
