It has been snowing off and on all morning here, with some of the showers being quite heavy. The M 8 was at a standstill between Glasgow and Edinburgh earlier.

Quite a few snow shower here late morning, giving intermittent coverings, which have now totally gone in the strong sunshine :) Looks like the Ireland, NW scotland and SW eangland are getting the worst of it all, just had a look at the princetown cam on dartmoor, looks nice and wintry

I took this photo during a blizzard. That's why it's a wee bit blurry

Quite intense snow falling here at the moment over past 30 mins, and seems like it may be a decent band, its a white out now, and if it keeps going, could be in for a few inches, esp now its nightfall and temps dropped considerably!

Some sleet and graupel showers in Norwich this afternoon- generated by homegrown convection over Norfolk it would seem.

Snow showers, briefly heavy, between 2100 and 2140 have given a cover of about 1cm on the roofs and paths, probably a bit more on the grass where it began to settle earlier.

Just awoke at the end of the thaw here at Newark. Obviously nothing much fell, but you can clearly see something did overnight.
