Snow Reports, Early April 2008

Drove back from Norfolk early this morning. Fantastic!!!! Snow pretty much all the way from the Thetford forest through to the Hampshire / Wiltshire border ... and even then we had snow flurries across Dartmoor. In places the snow was up to 10cm thick.

Had some very heavy snow here over the last 20-25 minutes, 1cm fallen and humoungous sized flakes

Some very good snowfall today, got about 4cms in the end which was better then what I expected so I'm very happy with that!

Yes, same here in my village 7m east of Beverley,

snowing heavily this last hour and at least a cm. covering.

I'm staying cosy and watching it come down in the nearest lampost light.

Just had a heavy snow shower here in Jersey! Some of it settled briefly in fields etc but not on the roads. Jersey Airport currently recording a temperature of 0.3C. With more showers forecast, it could be an interesting night for us Channel Islanders...

A very wintry weekend up here in the durham hills,a covering of snow first thing on saturday morning,followed by some light wintry showers through the day.

A very frosty start this morning,with some heavy snow during the middle part of the day which left almost a 3 inch covering.

Currently snowing heavily,which is covering up any ground where the afternoons snow had melted.

Got a mod snow shower about 8.30, did settle and gave a dusting but melted again as soon as the shower moved off but it was a nice little surprise!

OMG, just off to bed and its started snowing really heavily, sticking aswell it looks like a winter wonderland outside. Snow is really heavy with fat juicy flakes, where did this come from? Temp 1.3oC

Seems to have stopped now, but was a lovely heavy shower, has left about an inch cover and it looks beautiful. Lets hope it comes back again early Autumn!!

Heavy snow here overnight last night and first thing this morning, we had a good 10cm.
