Fairly heavy wet snow falling here for past hour or so, Temp 2oC. The snow has stuck to the grass, giving, but failing to stick to the roads at the moment, nice surprise :D

According to family members we had some wet snow here this morning after a heavy hail shower.

Heavy rain is also turning sleety at the moment, temp down to 4c.

Kilmarnock.

The NW radar has it as sleet, but you are quite high up, but there is some fairly heavy ppn around, so you could be in for some more.

(Edit: in fact it looks like you are in for another shower any second now)

Light snow here at the moment

EDIT: Snowing quite heavily now, large flakes. Even starting to stick on the grass.

I know it's been said before, but I really can't stop myself from being a bit irritated by this, if this spell of weather had come two or three months ago we would have been looking at a quite serious cold spell, with regular snowfall and, for this location anyway, days of lying snow with probably some quite impressive depths. Sometimes I really hate the British weather !!!

Whey-hey! its snowing here with a temp of 1oC.......Helen Willets and local weather say there could be upto 6cm over the peak district tonight down to 200m asl. Nice to see this relatively late snowfall, but not that unusual I guess

Well woke up to a smattering of snow cover, think it may have snowed heavily overnight, but the ground was quite wet, so probably struggled to settle. Temp is currently 0.6oC. Lying snow level seems to be almost 300 metres, so I should count myself lucky!
