Well a southerly tracking jet will kick in early part of August so surpressed temps for a while but settling and w3arming by latter part. I'll go for a 16.2C

After thoughts can i put in a revised punt of 15.4c down. I'm begining to think a cool first half to August is becoming quite likely, with the NAO swinging very negative recently i think this could well continue for a while yet.

But i think its possible that we may get a warmer second half, and a late heatwave maybe.

Just a novice's guess :huh:

I thought I might end up revising my August prediction downwards. It looks like being a fairly average sort of August, with warm spells more likely into the second half. 16.6C is my new prediction.
