Snow Watch: N&W Yorks, Northern & North East England

Not much happening here, but looking at the radar, I'm about to be hit by another batch quite soon :o

have around 5-6cm on top of my car, on and off showers all thru the night with another band of snow heading my way, at 6am i then leave to make my way to near Pitlcohry in Scotland, let the fun begin :o

Flash of lightning just now....seems to be from a cell several miles to my NE.

I'm stuck between two streamers; nothing coming this way at all and its all very frustrating. I'm really envious of those lot in the south-east.

Not just the south east. Complete white out here. 2cm! Trust me, complete white out for bournemouth.

These streamer vectors seem to be somewhat self-reinforcing once they are established for any length of time. Not sure if I will see any sustained snowfall today except for the odd rogue shower.

We shall see.
