Guest North Sea Snow Convection

There is a growing finger of showers now developing as shown on latest METO radar in a line from Deal/Dover along south kent coast - another streamer setting up? Good news for those of us further away from the Thames perhaps.

Snow showers are slowly getting heavier here - in fact snowing quite hard atm and starting to settle. Best snow so far of the day

Its not a big problem if there is a slight break in the showers becuase as steve correctly said this isn't the main thrust of showers by any means, I fully expect there to be pretty widespread reports of 5-10cms once the showers really get going by 9pm.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't start the non event business....the only thing expected was light snow for very eastern counties till this evening!! Infact the show is already heavier and more widespread than forecast...so thats a good sign. This is NOT a non event, its better than it was planned to be- and wait till this evening thats when the REAL fun begins.

The first flurries here in Brighton. Quite large flakes of snow. I wasn't expecting anything in daylight hours today, so quite a bonus

Paul, do you think this is a sign of things to come this evening and tonight, with the snow pushing into the center and east of Kent, and missing the London area all together?
