Nothing much to be excited about to be honest. Met Office have cursed it again. Snow is just too wet to settle and is slightly melting the existing cover. A nuisance so far.

What is your elevation? Just a few metres can make all the difference sometimes. Your temperature should start to drop rapidly now though, I started off as sleet/very wet snow, now it seems wet snow which is getting drier as it is starting to swirl. Temp now 2.3c.

I think this has arrived about 2 hours too early. If this had arrived after dark it would have started as snow. It's a bummer it's started now.

At least you have some. The band has arrived at your place now, but the Pennines have made sure that I have nothing yet :o

Look at the big hole in the front. Having 700-800m hills to your W is great for the outdoors and for snow walks (I was up there recently and there was over 1m) but when it comes to frontal events you wish they weren't there!

To be fair I think we are about 78m asl so that is why we have rain at the moment.

Is this front suppoosed to stall or something as I cannot see it taking most of the night to pass over us, also it's not very potent?
