light rain on and off, certainly not moderate like on the radar. I dont think the radars are playing up because its been showing it all day - i think its more of a case of precip evaporating before reaching the ground. Well temps are slowly falling 3.5C and a dewp of 0.4C at the mo! Just waiting for this rain to turn to snow...

Moderate snow now.

Mark - please add your location to your profile using the My Control tab at the top of the page - otherwise we don't know where you are talking about. Thanks,

Bernard.

It is snowing properly here now.

It is on the wet side, but the lawn is now looking a bit white as are some of the pavements. The road is untouched at present.

Thermometer showing 1.6c, down from 3.7c an hour ago - and is dropping fast since the snow arrived.

Snowing here in Milton Keynes, pretty cool tbh, filling in all the areas that had melted since the last fall. A new 1cm covering and still coming down. Hope the front heads south more and drags the heavier stuff down instead of sending it out into the north sea. That would mean 5 significant snowfalls in two weeks, can't ever remember it ever snowing so many times here :D

Have light-moderate wet snow here for last half hour, but refusing to settle. Air temp still a little high but dew points are dropping to below freezing - which means snow will fall but it aint going to settle. However, a look at the 1700 meteocentre plot shows temps falling to 0C North of London but are rising again across the Scottish Border:
