Light snow but big flakes here for the last hour or so, only just started laying on car roofs now though as it was wet from the earlier sleet

Simply amazing.............It's really chucking it down with heavy snow right now and settling even more. Temp is 1c :)

Croydon definately seems to be fairing better than Biggin Hill right now....normally hubby's concern is getting out of Biggin Hill (on snowy days); however, on this ocassion perhaps he should be more concerned with arriving at East Croydon.

Bring it on....come on - I want another day like 2nd Feb :)

Currently snowing moderately - still not covering my patio though :) - but everything else :cold:

Had some light to mod. snow in Croydon town centre between 5.30 and 6.30, then stopped. Noticed we were then on western edge of ppn.

On drive home to Lee SE12, just after 7, encountered snow starting again in Shirley and on the outskirts of Bromley there was a dusting in places from

the snow that fell around 5. Back home in Lee now, snow starting to settle and certainly feels colder than earlier.

Regards,

Tom.

Heavy snow here and settling much more. Temp has gone down to 0.5c

Yamkin, its absolutely incredible here in Buntingford, North East Herts (twenty miles North of Enfield, North London).

It has been snowing heavily now for 4 hours and we already have about 4 inches of lying snow. :)

quite impressed with this snow - must be pretty cold out as many cars driving past making tracks in the snow - but the tracks are covered again within a few mins, not bad for being only 5m above sea level :)

nice orangey sky :)

Currently 2cm here, I've just been out for a ciggie and a measure (how sad am)! :)

Slightly smaller flakes now though, hope its not coming to an end.... *gets down on knees and prays for more*

Still a very orange sky though so fingers crossed!!
