about 3cm in Chelmsford now

still moderate snow

Same for me.

I do love the way the lighting inside the house changes when there's snow outside.

Well, we've got about 4-5cm here, really nice covering all over the roads and everywhere. Looks a bit wet though, with a temp of 0.0c.

Similar scene here just down the road, with snow still falling. About an hour ago I walked home from the station and in the 15 mins it took got absolutely covered in it. Kids laughed their heads off when they saw me at the door

They're very pretty... but why are they so orange??

Must be the glow of the street lights... it was a 15s shutter speed shot, very steady hand required!

Oh and that's how orange it actually is out there! :)

Moderate rain and a few flakes mixed in now. If it doesn't get any heavy it shouldn't melt too much. Hope it's there in the morning still, after waking up for a week from Monday 2nd Feb to a snowy garden and fields, it's been lacklustre seeing green since about Tuesday 10th.

Yep my snow pictures at night are usually that orange, lightroom soon fixes that though.

do you have the lights off inside then ? :)

:)

haha you know what i mean, normally it's daytime when I notice a slight different quality to how the light indoors looks. But even now I look out a window (like my obscured bathroom window) you can just tell there's a covering of snow.

Cheers one and all

no blizzard here in herne bay but snowing very heavily!!

I just drove to whitstable then through herne bay and back towards canterbury , i live between canterbury and herne bay at 50m... Its not snowing very heavy , its light to moderate snow but most is light. Heavy snow is when you have huge flakes and lots of them

The ppn that is currently over London has missed me by about a mile!

I can see the orange sky and snow falling from my door, but nothing here except a slow melt from the 0.5cm i managed to get.

Those who are getting it - ENJOY.
