just got home from london took 2 hours, snowing heavy here, street and cars covered

Still snowing here and the sky looks full of it. Just had a look at the local travel cams, starting to lay on some of the main roads Kent Traffic Webcams

Just driven home from Basildon to Rayleigh. The A127 was very nasty, covered in snow with no sign of gritting. Visibility was awful with the snow chucking it down in my headlights.

Its been snowing for the last hour in SE London, and now its starting to settle, first snow that I have seen falling this winter, always been in the wrong place up to now...

could be intesting for my 8:00am flight from Stansted tomorrow morning...

Three hours of snow in Norwich:

Sticking to the cold stuff but paving doesn't have much. Temps are still over 1c and snow now getting lighter. Another case of "snows at night then come by the morning".

Got as much here now as we had on the morning of February 2nd - about 2cms now and still moderately falling. Temp near 0.7C and dewpoint of 0.2C. Lets hope we get clear skies and a frost later on.

Still snowing heavily here and all surfaces except the roads are covered! Im glad the roads are too wet! Still a very suprising evening given the forcast this morning was for rain!
