We are certainly not looking at anything widespread or massive in terms of storms but there could be lots of showers which add to the chance. As usual it will be hit and miss but if frequent enough many should see some showers.

Well no storms for me today, but one thing notable was the wind, gusting past 30 mph today and as I was working near and underneath some trees in a pretty village I heard a crack and then a few moments later a big branch fell just [luckily] sliding down the side of my van, then another one fell but luckily I had moved the Van!Ok it was not lightning what broke the branch ,but the wind so perhaps a small mercy offering from the Gods of the"No storms club" Little offerings in the next day or two for storms although there could be some interesting times/weather :lol: when XBill arrives next week!! Here is hoping anyway! :lol: :lol:

Okay I'm walking back in here, the only decent storm I had was that one of the 1st of July, only a few thundery showers (like 1 strike every 5 minutes) after that.

You know. I feel so much for Jane Louise, who'd Id theoretically suspect in a normal Summer to see her (And Dogs32) and other Sarrrth West to see more storms than me further up intowards Birmingham. I've seen 7 already in Solihull alone. Thats 7 more than I've seen since 2003.

I've been thinking. Us storm lucky lot, be unexpected or otherwise should get our heads and graphichal art together and make this a sole tribute to those who have had no storms at all this Spring/Summer. Give it until say... Early October.

Shermy managed it on YouTube, the funniest vid I've ever seen. I think one for those for Jane and Dogs32 too. I'll contribute all I can.

well it look's as though its going to be a Stormless year for here...

very surprised but past caring now....

We could of least had a decent Summer but no not even that...

Feel like going to Spain to see some sun or storm's...

I think the chances now for any storm's here are getting extremely slim but sometimes September does produce.

I look forward to watching tornado live stream's now in January so my eye's have nearly given up on here.

A small risk for Northern parts of the South West on Friday but really the main risk will be resrved for The Midlands, Wales, Northern England and perhaps Southern Scotland.

Even this chart says No to the Severn area-unfair just looking at it! Glad i dont have to take note of that. Good luck...again!

I remember last 6th September, there were plenty of beefy, and I mean BEEFY showers when travelling down over the Gloucester/Worcester area. Seen the floods. (Fields were like a giant swimming pool!) and according to my younger Brother, there was a thunderstorm on that day. (Just going through photo archives*...)

Typical, I'm in Exmouth at that point, called my Brother on mobile when arrived and knackered through travelling (Thank you M5 for the 1 hour jam southbound!) and a thunderstorm going off in Solihull when I arrived at said destination. The only one I could have recorded for the whole of 2008. Pfft!!

* Here we go, and if that missed you, then you do have a storm shield. Like Bermuda Triangle I guess?
