4.8c up the road in Warwick , no chance now till weekend if we are lucky cc_confused.gif

I don't see what the problem is. The Midlands has never done well off direct Northerlies and we need a very potent easterly to bring anything decent. These ones are no different.

thank you! thats the point i was trying to make earlier! why people expect buckets of snow in the midlands off a fairly weak easterly is beyond me.

Yep. Our best hope is a rogue trough that you sometimes find in northerlies or the inevitable attempt from the Atlantic to battle the cold.

I never expected shed loads, I just was hopeful of some good snow showers.

P.S. Winds changing direction now, am expecting temps to start to drop next.

buckets is a bit exaggerated, there was the odd post ramping snow to those sorts of levels up. but yesterday weather09 there was a post from you talking about significant accumulations through the midlands thursday into friday :D

It doesn't matter how much snow there would have been , the point is the models have downgraded Snow totally for the midlands to zero. 12 hours before the event. 6z had heavy showers all day tomorrow and friday. It is my shortest to time let down ever recorded.

Agreed i'm well annoyed about it. I feel like a kid who just got given a new toy on Christmas day only to be told on Boxing day that it's going to get taken back to the shop.

BBC 10:35 forecast was SE focused as youd expect. :)

Menawhile no snow showers predcited tomorrow or friday for here. Lets see what the weekend brings...
