When I got up this morning it was -8.7°C!, it's now still -4.0°C at 11.40 :80: and cloudy, unless there is some super quick warming I think we're gonna have another ice day here :doh:

Monday morning "rush hour" could be interesting for this region. It won't be quite the rush hour because a lot of schools have broken up but look at this precipt chart by UKMO for 1am Monday and note the green blob over our area

That's encouraging for me! TWS said that western coastal fringes prob won't see much but the BBC forecast this morning showed white blobs over the sea as well as adjoining coasts/inland on Sun and Mon.

Missing the current showers here, but just been out and its still below freezing (well the car says so ! at minus 1) saw the 11.30 forecast whilst out, and it certainly looks like we could be in for a fair old dumping over Sunday and into Monday. I hope TWS is right about tonight too, there is still very little melt of the snow from Thursday night.

I see that the Met Office warnings have also been extended into Monday too.
