Jimben, considering you are very close to me what is the current temp and dp at the moment?

i'd rather take yours than pitsford. like i said you are much closer.

feels like the temp has dropped even more.

It suddenly makes it really serious, so everyone take care because the way they're talkin, this is serious. I've never seen anything like it

Makes it a bit scary really

Take care people

Ramp it up. All a little overdone imo.

Nothing that website has said has EVER materialised so i don't believe it for a second.

Telford is back in the snow shield again now but was lovely to see it broken for 10 minutes.

I'm not very optimistic.

if the temps can drop then maybe yeah, if they remain like they are forget it.

Im guessing it will be a wintry mix rather than snow, this part of Telford has only had snow as im at 160 meters above sea level whilst my friends about 100 meters lower had sleet.

Still snowing lightly though seems to be clearing up and the mini dusting is vanishing as its still well above freezing.

I reckon the band over snow heading for Leeds could reach us overnight, ATM it seems to be turning to sleet though.

That band just to our North seems to be weakening. Usual then.

We actually had a covering of snow last night, which was unexpected! Just been driving home and it's snowing in Leicester Forest East... didn't even know anything was expected. Looks like the band of pptn is moving away now and not convinced that stuff in the North will reach us, so, looks like that's it for a bit.

For my area tonight...

Sleet and snow showers Saturday evening could give accumulations of 1 to 3 cm in places before clearing southwards overnight. Widespread ice is likely to form on untreated surfaces.

Probably nothing will happen then. :)
