Can't see that happening, i'm hoping the Penines don't suck the life outta it  .

I must admit im not feeling as confident now. We'll probably get light PPN from this band, and fingers crossed for showers later.I'll be happy with a couple of cm's today on top of what we've curently got.

Just started snowing here now, only very light, but the sky looks nice and full. acute.gif

Nice to be in the gap with no snowsmile.gif Plenty to come though.

I know, I am watching the raintoday site and it would seem we have a large umberella over Hudds, Hope we get some of that big stuff. Watching GMTV and it's coming down thick and fast in Dewsbury.

Morning snow watchers :whistling:

According to the radar, it has only been snowing here for past hour, yet on what was a clear car last night we have at least 3 cm's of snow already, can't tell how much on the actual land as no reliable reference point.

morning all, pleasently surprised this morning, light dusting here, flakes so tiny i dont think its going to cause to much excitement today, look north says its going to be dry here from mid morning. hoping for something a bit heavier over the next few days.

Yeah me too, my son goes to Almonbury, may be okay getting him there, but coming home may be tricky.

Raintoday now looks loads better for Huddersfield.

Noing here yet but it is very frosty outside. I've checked the radar and the snows not too far away now. Hoping for a covering at least today.

Gone light again after a heavier burst, the heavier snow looks to be on its way however its certainly taking its time. High resolution model for net-weather gives me 10cm by the end of the day, the NAE model about 6cm and the GFS about 7cm :lazy:

Congratulations mate,

Maybe because i just woke up, but im sure, well pretty sure actually, looking at the models. it seems it pivots and stalls over me a lil later, and then i get lots of showers coming in off the N sea aswell.
