Well still snowing here...looks to have been around 3 or 4 cms fallen mostly in the last hour

We now start to look to the north and the system pivoting towards us from there for this evening

As that starts to approach us we should start to get some idea of how intense the precip moving up from the south will be

The stuff in Poole has come in off the channel is just a bit of light fluff, Poole will get hammered, particularly the higher bits, corfe mullen, Bournemouth etc.

The current centre of the forming low seems to be the east midlands. But the snow has become very snow moving in the last hr or so and will gradually come to almost a stop in a triangle from Bristol to London to the IOW and then Pivot around the IOW.

Still very much as forecast by the METO and the NAE.

Snow up here! Was sleet down at work just outside Exeter but coming back up here the roads turned white and there is a covering, still snowing a bit, but the high moor looks to be getting a pasting!

Is this just the sign of things to come or is this it? Radar of TQ13 anyone? Pretty please? wink.gif

Edit: Much like that: Postbridge, Dartmoor

Just started to snow here. Temp 2.1, DP 1.5; temp rise seems to have stalled now - steady at that level.
