Really? I've not seen any mention of rain or sleet, just snow. (steer clear of ITV forecasts!)

BBC Spotlight went for persistant light snow for the whole region on Sunday/Monday and heavy snow Tuesday night.

ITV have already had egg on their face this week as they forecast rain on Tuesday with it possibly turning to sleet on the higher ground and low and behold the rain turned to sleet and snow even to lower levels and they looked abit flusterd the following evening during the forecast, so i'd take their forecasts with a pinch of salt lol.

Got any tabs on the direction of that lot?

Going very much southwest - think it'll hit Bristol then onto Weston

Nothing much going on here. Partly cloudy -4.9C and about 25- 30 cm of snow level.... Could do with a bit more i guess to get to the levels we had last Feb ( not that I'm being greedy <_<

If ya must :whistling:

Hmmm I'd go for 30 foot in the best places, but possibly a bit more for up your way... or not.

But perhaps another couple of inches (I still think they are under playing the amounts much like this week just gone)

Todays bit of sun melted snow's now been replaced! This came from the same bit of yorkshire coast being attacked by showers right now so could be more later....

This is great! It really isn't that heavy, and won't last for too long, but amount settling for saying that is mad!

Is Bristol going to get anything out of this?

Damper for Sunday - just watched News24 weather and it's a S.E./London event for Sunday - when i watched the forecast at lunchtime looked like we were in for decent snow, now it looks minimal and that's a best case scenario - anyone got a better update on Sunday?

Not sure. Just looked at radar and it looks like it's going to S.E. wales and Cardiff

Reckon we might get the very edge of it
