The reason for my lack of posts is that I'm not too enthusiastic about cold rain, which is what I've had for most of the evening.

I was talking about those who have snow which is a fair number.

I'm guessing you live in Pudsey Leeds, if so we are going to get a right pasting, look at rain today and there is a line of precipitation that is over us and is building on the back edge.

No lol, there aren't many online atm who live in Yorkshire and the ones that are online probably have rain so they probably don't want to read our snow posts. Anyway yeah no doubt I will be looking out the window every minute, is it still snowing in Pudsey?

Moderate here but not big flakes, small-medium sized flakes.

NAE shows we should be on the right side of marginal till 6AM when it will become marginal (dew points 0-1.c) but still supportive of wet snow or sleet.

A good 4-5cm cleared off car this morning Pudsey 175m asl. Think we did well last night looking at previous posts.

Very difficult to get out of cul de sac too.

Plenty of snow Jed in Otley too. Came over the Chevin and that had been ploughed.

Might take a jaunt up above Otley towards Timble at lunch. Massive snowdrifts up there in January

Nothing spectacular here - about 3cm overnight but I don't know if it did turn to rain as I went to bed at 2330.

Fairly rapid thaw now underway in a thick fog.

Will be interesting to see if we get a return to the cold air but I suspect we're at winter's end. No complaints though - it's been a very good winter up here in the hills and many years since we needed a farmer to come over and dig us out with his JCB.

BBC are suggesting serious gales for the weekend but mainly in the south of England,...I hope ! - it's like living in the Falklands up here in windy weather. :lol:
