Great gains the last few days, and hopefully it will continue! Other than China mainly, it's looking much better than last year.

Europe's starting to get a bit whiter now, no sign of britain getting whiter atm, i'd think that'll change by tomorrow :)

Heres a good link for looking at snow coverage. It allows you to zoom in and out also which is handy :)

That should change by tomorrow, most of northern and Western Wales is experiencing settling snow atm, eastern scotland, northern ireland, eastern England and also South West of England. Expect greater changes morrow.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow's image.....it should show the snow that fell on the WestCountry and Wales yesterday (because it is still here...all quarter of an inch of it!).

 I had started to get confused about tomorrow's being yesterday's and all that, but I've got it now!

Plus a huge "THANK YOU" to cyclonic happiness for starting this thread...it's a cracker! :w00t:

No, not at all, the more imput folk put in the better as far as I'm concerned, sometimes it can be difficult to put in an early post so I don't mind at all if anyone wants to put the currant update up here :)

The link below is to a satellite image of the UK from today. Although there is quite a lot of cloud you can see the snow covering much of Scotland, as well as NE England and parts of Wales.
