Going to say that the area looks right, but as to the description:

Issued at - 25 Aug 2011, 12:10

Valid from - 26 Aug 2011, 00:00

Valid to - 26 Aug 2011, 12:00

Persistent, heavy and possibly thundery rain will spread from the south during Thursday night and Friday morning giving totals of 25 to 35 mm quite widely and as much as 50 mm in places. This may lead to localised surface water flooding.

I'd say the rain is probably on the money, but the thundery bit is still open to interpretation.

There is a big mass of rain on it's way to me on the radar, it's gone quite dark, here's hoping it has thunder or lightning in it .

Did you get any T&L yesterday?

No Lol, although I did have a big downpour which lasted a couple minutes and my trellis went flying across the garden at the same time.

Dare I hope I may actually see something today? Lots of promising cumulus about to the west.

Some heavy precipitation out in the Irish Sea. Some very heavy rain approaching Anglesey.
