Looking at the radar, I think that narrow band might make it here! Radar screams potential, even for the northeast.

Yep we should do well and so should the northern half of Britain. But at uppers higher than -5c it snowed here. So if there's any heavy precipitation about, cold air temperatures and uppers near -5C then perhaps you may see something wintry but that's hopeful thinking.

One traffic cam is working just north of Aberdeen where it's snowing.

Thats good news for you guys! You never know, i'll be happy just to see the temperatures cooler/colder of late and a few frosts down here.

Yes I would imagine you should get some snow.

Seems to have gone quiet here?! Is there power cuts from the heavy snow? Have forum members gone to make snowmen? or have they all gone to bed hoping to wake up to snowfall in the morning ? :p

Is Wanlockhead the highest village in Scotland? I seem to remember reading that it is.

In Britain I believe. Anyone who used to watch Weirs Way in the 70's on STV might remember he did an episode from there.

Heavy sleet and wet snow showers for me since early evening with a slight covering on cars.

Just stopped snowing again with about 3cm on the ground and currently 0c. Seem to be plenty more showers on the radar. A day for feeding and bedding the cattle this morning and then coming inside to help put up the Christmas tree this afternoon while watching the snow fall.
